Confetti Friday #1

Here it is: my all time favourite wedding photo. Because, as a wedding planner, you've got to have your favourites. You really do. I've been to 247 weddings in the last 11 years (according to the Vogue favoured justify-price-per-wear method of calculating a designer items 'real' price, my wardrobe amounts to approx. 5p.) And whilst forking out for yet another wedding worthy dress has lost some of its lustre right about now (alongside 'fusion' menus and m&ms as wedding favours), the first confetti strewn glimpse of husband and wife in a sea of cheer never tires.

I'm rather prone to sneaking out of saccharine nuptials for a spot of fresh air and I'll admit I glaze over whenever Bad Poetry makes its Dreaded and almost certain Appearance (weddings are where bad poetry goes to thrive) but I've never missed a Confetti Shot. A wedding isn't complete without it.

So I’m happy to declare that from now on, each Friday henceforth will be known as Confetti Friday; where we can take in that ‘Just Married’ moment as the happy coupled are showered as they step out as Husband and Wife for the first time.

It almost makes up for the rhyming couplets...
