If you've ever had the pleasure of gorging on cake in France (and believe me, my waistline can attest that I most certainly have) you’ll know that this level of cake making takes French Made to a whole other level of exquisite indulgence. But it doesn't stop there.
Within its offerings, French Made caters to whatever your whim calls for: Shabby chic? Rustic? Modern Pop? Vintage? Gothic? Or maybe you’d like to join me in my own billowing pink fantasy to lie down on a stuffed chaise longue, demanding the Sugar Rush buffet table spread, ah la Marie Antoinette style?
No..? Don't worry, whatever your particular fantasy or vision, Lauren has you covered. The quirkier the better.
She specialises in alternative and loves fusing tradition with uniqueness. She’ll consider almost anything. So give your cake dreams wings and let Lauren take the wheel. Here's what she has to say about French Made: "We make our dessert tables in London but our roots are firmly in France. We're the company that might just save Anglo-French relations forever [-if anything can Lauren, it surely must be cake - SH]. We're like the entente cordiale of cakes.
Our buffets include custom-made cakes, sweets, favours and styling. We even include a little joie de vivre...although you're welcome to bring your own too. We use only the freshest and best ingredients, so the taste is as uniquely brilliant as the look.
Our designs are inspired by alternative, vintage, rustic and shabby chic themes and we do shabby chic a whole lot better than they did on The Apprentice. We listen to you to find out what's going to make your special occasion that extra bit special. The quirkier, the better. When it comes to unusual cakes, I will consider (almost) anything. If there’s anyone who can bring your moonage daydreams to life, I’d like to think it’s me!"
She continues, "We're available for weddings, tea parties, dinner parties, breakfast parties, hen dos, stag dos, bat mitzvahs, pagan naming ceremonies...we love to celebrate and we'll be there whenever you invite us. "
So there you are. Now we all know where to get our French cake fix without leaving London. And is it just me, or is this rosette cake one of the best we've ever seen? LOVE IT! ( I just wish I could see inside all its deliciousness). WOW, sometimes the talent of others leaves me speechless. Well, you know, almost.
