Do streamers qualify for Confetti Friday? They sure do!
What an epic summer! I think I need a holiday to recover from the last three months. You've probably noticed things have been eerily quiet here on Some Honey these last few weeks. I've been flying in and out for overseas weddings and both my assistants have had the flu. It's like all of Some Honey's proverbial buses arrived at once - and then promptly broke down!
Still, its not all check ins, squeezy elbow inflight skin care attempts and Codral doing the rounds. We've received a haul of new projects to review for the Autumn ahead and have lots to talk about as our official Wedding Season starts winding down for a quiet autumn lull - just how I like it and just what I need right now.
And here I am, enjoying the start of a new week and thinking about the last few weddings on my books with such happiness for the newlyweds. Fridays are my mondays but this weekend I'm glad to be firmly on English soil for some home grown nuptial joy.
I'll be wearing this Queen of Hearts bracelet which was a gift from my newest favourite 8 year old - we're best friends now...now that my attempts to get her into a swan costume as the cutest flower girl ever are over. Phew. She bought it with her pocket money and I couldn't be more pleased. One of the interesting things about being a Wedding Planner is how close you get to couples and their families. I guess its only natural that I'm often in touch with so many past clients. Still, some clients are easier than others and I have to admit my latest swan spectacular wedding theme really put my 'aunty' demeanour to the test. Thank goodness I appear to have passed with flying colours!
Weddings, I love every inch of them.
